Farm & Fork IQ is an engaging and educational initiative that bridges the gap between agriculture and nutrition, inspiring people to understand where their food comes from and how it affects their health. The name Farm & Fork IQ stands for Farm and Fork Intelligence Quotient. It’s a fun way to measure how smart we are about the foods we grow, eat, and share.

At its heart, Farm & Fork IQ promotes smart eating through smart farming. We believe that true wellness starts with awareness, knowing how what we eat is produced, processed, and prepared. Through interactive quizzes, competitions, workshops, and learning challenges, participants discover the vital link between soil and sustenancefarm and family, and nutrition and nature.

Our mission at Farm & Fork IQ is to bridge the gap between agriculture and nutrition through engaging, skill-based learning experiences. We aim to educate and inspire individuals, especially young people to understand where their food comes from, how it’s grown, and how it nourishes the body.

The goal of Farm & Fork IQ is to inspire greater awareness and understanding of the vital connection between agriculture and nutrition. Through interactive quizzes, educational challenges, and engaging competitions, the platform empowers individuals—especially students and young professionals—to make informed food choices, appreciate the science behind healthy eating, and promote sustainable farming practices that support wellness and community health.

About The Founder

She’s Betty Olayinka Folarin-Akinlosotu (BOFA). A passionate trained and experienced African American Health Professional; an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a Culinary Artist, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She’s passionate in creating more peaceful, healthy world by helping people produce healthy, happy, thriving, and emotionally secure life and environment in my community. She was born in Nigeria and relocated to the United States of America two decades ago. She had worked in both education and healthcare sectors in the U.S paid and volunteer. She believes it is important for people to understand that one does not need to be an RD, RN, or MD to go through figuring out the type of foods that help support health. Her advocacy is on Wellness, making people to understand that wellness is not only about our body alone, but our mind, environment, spirit, community, emotions, finances and career, (the work we do). And each aspect of this wellness can affect our quality of life. when it comes to diet. Her confidence lies on individuals creating themselves healthy diet and work their way into healthy and beautiful body.
